HCL B/P

Stomach acid does more than break down food. It activates pepsinogen into pepsin (the enzyme that begins protein digestion), triggers the release of pancreatic enzymes downstream, sterilizes incoming food, and is required for the absorption of minerals like iron, calcium, and zinc, as well as vitamin B12. Many adults produce less HCl than they need, particularly with age, stress, or prolonged PPI use.

Adults experiencing signs of low stomach acid, such as bloating or heaviness after protein-rich meals, undigested food in stool, or known hypochlorhydria. Best used under practitioner guidance, often with a structured HCl challenge protocol.

Take at the beginning of a meal that contains protein. This allows the supplemental HCl and pepsin to work alongside your body's own digestive process from the start of the meal.

Do not use if you have active gastric or duodenal ulcers, gastritis, or if you are currently taking NSAIDs (ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen), as these can damage the stomach lining and HCl supplementation could worsen irritation. Do not use with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) without practitioner guidance.
